Arena facts
Valhalla IP is a modern heated artificial grass pitch that is approved for matches in the Men’s Super First division and the Women’s All-Swedish division. The stadium is the home ground of the women’s premier division football club Kopparbergs/Göteborgs FC and the men’s division 1 team Qviding.
Valhalla IP also provides valuable supplementary capacity for bigger events, especially the ones held at Ullevi. During athletics competitions and football matches Valhalla IP is also used as a warm-up arena, storage area and car park for big music events.
During the 2006 European Athletics Championships the facility was also used as a warm-up arena.
