Your integrity is important to us at Got Event. In the information below, we explain how we process personal data and other information about your rights.
Got Event is part of the City of Gothenburg. This information complements The City of Gothenburg’s information on the processing of personal data.
Personal Data Controller
Got Event AB (556015-9823, Box 349, 401 25 Gothenburg) is personal data controller for the processing of personal data on the website, e-mail and in the process that takes place within the company at our arenas. These activities are internal HR, finance, business management, marketing, events, purchasing, sales, restaurant, bath and security.
Processers
Got Event is in some cases a personal data processer for our customers (for example event organizers and sports clubs). In these cases, we act according to their instructions. Got Event provides ticket sales and event information on behalf of our customers.
In those cases where Got Event is the personal data processer, it is the data controllers who are responsible for complying with the requirements contained in the data protection legislation and your rights.
Sub-processers
Got Event uses sub-processers mainly for ticket systems through subcontractors.

Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection.
Your rights
In cases where Got Event is the personal data processer, you cannot request an extract from the register directly. You need to turn to the personal data controller. In cases where Got Event is personal data controller, you have the right to be informed if we have processed your personal data and the reason why we do so. You also have the right to receive information for free regarding which personal data we have processed about you and in which way they have been processed. To get that information, you need to contact us on your own and you have the right to receive an answer within a month. Your rights also include that you can request that information about you should be restricted, deleted, supplemented or corrected. For more information contact us through the contact page.
Transfer of personal data
Personal data may be transferred for necessary processing to other businesses within the city or other companies for IT services, distribution and payment solutions. When personal information is shared with partners, the information must be processed in accordance to Got Events' instructions.
In addition to this, Got Event may by law be obliged to disclose information to state authorities (for example the police and the tax authorities). In addition, Got Event may disclose personal information to companies that offer payment solutions (for example payment service providers, ticket sales and banks). In these cases, our partners process the data as independent personal data controllers in accordance with their own privacy policies and instructions.
Cross-border treatment
Got Event strives to only process personal data within the EU/EEA and to collaborate with partners and suppliers that process personal data within the EU/EEA. If any transfers take place to third countries or international organizations, we will use the appropriate protection rules required by law.
Storage
Your personal data will not be stored for longer than is necessary for the purpose of the processing. In practical terms, this means that data is eliminated when it’s no longer relevant or necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. In some cases, we must follow archive laws or other laws, with requirements for longer time to preserve information.
Security protection
When handling personal data, there is always a high level of security with protection in accordance with the City of Gothenburg's regulations with all appropriate technical and organizational measures required.
