For the very first time, the Swedish men’s national basketball team will play at Scandinavium – and it happens in a highly anticipated World Cup qualifier against a star-studded Slovenia. On December 1, a historic evening awaits in Gothenburg as basketball takes center stage in our iconic arena.

It’s time to write a new chapter in Scandinavium’s sports history. On December 1, Sweden and Slovenia will face off in a crucial match in the first round of the World Cup qualifiers. Slovenia is a formidable opponent with several international stars on the roster – and Sweden is ready to deliver an exciting home game in Gothenburg.

Scandinavium has hosted many unforgettable sporting moments – from ice hockey and handball to equestrian and figure skating. Now, for the first time ever, we welcome national team basketball to the arena in a game that promises to be a new fan favorite.

Food & beverage

At Scandinavium, there are several places to satisfy your hunger and quench your thirst. Check out the arena's food and beverage offerings.

Please note that you are not allowed to bring your own food or drinks into the arena.

Wheelchair spaces and accessibility

Spaces suitable for wheelchairs are booked via Ticketmaster.se or Ticketmaster call centre on 077 670 77 77. Each wheelchair ticket includes 1 free companion.

Amplified arena sound

Via the Got Event Accessibility app, you can get enhanced arena sound during matches. Download the latest version of the app via App Store och Google Play
Remember to bring your own headphones and fully charged mobile phone! 

Total ban of bags

There is a total ban on bags during the event, which means you are not allowed to bring any bag, handbag, tote bag, or pouch, with the exception of diaper bags and bags for medical purposes. Read more about the bag ban at polisen.se. Please also note that you are not allowed to bring items such as umbrellas or bicycle batteries into the arena.

For a safer event

Be there in good time and be prepared that you may be searched. It is not permitted to bring umbrellas, bicycle batteries, camera and video equipment and food or drinks into the arena.

Find the arena

We encourage you to take a bicycle, walk or use the public transport to the arena if you have the opportunity. The nearest stops are Ullevi Södra and Ullevi Norra. Find the best route with Västtrafiks planner. You can also use a rental bike from Styr & Ställ.
