European Championship Playoff at the National Arena

The Swedish women's national team continues their quest for a spot in the European Championship finals in Switzerland 2025. In the first round of the playoffs, they will face Luxembourg. The return leg will be played at the National Arena, Gamla Ullevi.

We're looking forward to playing in front of our home crowd in Gothenburg again, says head coach Peter Gerhardsson.

The draw for the women's playoff was held on July 19, confirming that Luxembourg will be the opponent in the first round, with match dates set for October 25 and 29. The women's national team will start away and then play the return leg at home in Gothenburg.

The last time Sweden played at the National Arena, the attendance record for a women's national team match was broken. A total of 16,789 supporters filled the arena to cheer on the team against England. Now, the team is excited to play in front of the home crowd in Gothenburg again.

See you at Gamla Ullevi!
