Hard rock powerhouse Volbeat is coming to Scandinavium
Danish rock giants Volbeat are making a highly anticipated return to Scandinavium this fall. As part of their world tour, they will stop in Gothenburg on October 19.
Volbeat will release their upcoming ninth album God of Angels Trust on June 6, with a first taste already available through the video for their new single By a Monster’s Hand. In connection with the album release, the Danish rock giants will embark on their massive Greatest Of All Tours Worldwide tour, with two stops in Sweden, one of which will be at Scandinavium! The last time they played at the arena was in 2016, in front of nearly 10,000 enthusiastic fans, and in the summer of 2023, they opened for Metallica at Ullevi. They will be joined by Bush and Witch Fever as special guests.
With God of Angels Trust, Volbeat takes a new approach to their songwriting. The band, who hold the record for the most #1 placements on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay Chart by a non-North American band, has now embraced a more direct and spontaneous creative process.

At Poul's Restaurant, located two floors up from the entrance of Scandinavium, a seasonal 3-course menu is served where you can choose between vegetarian, fish, or meat options.

Total ban of bags
There is a total ban on bags during the event, which means you are not allowed to bring any bag, handbag, tote bag, or pouch, with the exception of diaper bags and bags for medical purposes. For a safer event
Be there in good time and be prepared that you may be searched. It is not permitted to bring umbrellas, bicycle batteries, camera and video equipment and food or drinks into the arena.

Scandinavium is located at Valhallagatan 1 in Gothenburg. We encourage you to cycle, walk or take public transport to the arena. The nearest stop is called Scandinavium and is right outside the entrance.
