Accessibility at Frölundaborg
Here you will find information about wheelchair spaces, accessibility services and other practical things that are good to know before your visit at Frölundaborg.
Book wheelchair spaces
To book tickets for wheelchair spaces at Frölunda HC’s home matches, contact lotta.algotsson@frolundahockey.com.
Booking wheelchair spaces for other events at Frölundaborg is done via Ticketmaster.se or Ticketmaster's accessibility line 077-670 77 77 (phone hours weekdays 09:00-13:00).
The wheelchair spaces are located in sections H and N. To get there, you will take the lift that you will find by the entrance of the arena. Near the wheelchair spaces, there is a arena host available.
When you book a ticket with a wheelchair space, one (1) free companion is always included. The companion can sit on a chair near you. If you have another party that you want to sit close to, we recommend they try to book seats in row 6, in the same section as you. They will then sit on the row just behind the wheelchair space.
Mobility impairment without a wheelchair
If you have a mobility impairment and want to avoid stairs, we recommend that you book a ticket in row 5. If you need crutches, it is OK to bring them into the arena.
Non-visible disabilities
If you have a disability that means that you need additional information or support during your visit to an event, do not hesitate to contact us at eventinfo@gotevent.se. Also, inform the staff on-site and we will do our utmost to meet your needs.
Get to the arena
- By public transport
If you go by public transport, the nearest stop is Marklandsgatan. In Västtrafik’s travel planner, you can find the best route and also see which trams and busses have room for wheelchairs. - By car
If you take the car and have a parking permit for the disabled, there are four parking spaces near the arena. There are two parking spaces to the left side of the entrance to Frölundaborg, and two behind the arena. Keep in mind that the parking areas can become busy at events. - With service transport
If you go with service transport, state “Frölundaborg, Slottskogsatan 150” when ordering. If you book service to get you from the arena, we recommend that you have about half an hour to spare on your booking. This because it is rarely possible to know the exact end time for an event.
Entrance
The entrance is at ground level and accessible to all. There is an elevator by the entrance that will take you up to the foyer.
Arena plan
(Click on the arena plan to see an enlarged version).
