Football temple for the Gothenburg Alliance and national stadium for women’s football

When Gamla Ullevi was inaugurated in 1916, it was hailed as Scandinavia’s most modern football stadium. The stadium was demolished in 2007 and re-opened two years later as a newly built football temple for the Gothenburg Alliance clubs IFK Göteborg, Gais and Örgryte IS. Many memorable matches are played here, and today Gamla Ullevi is the national stadium for the Swedish national women’s football team. Experience football magic at Gamla Ullevi!
