Together we set a new standard for sustainable events
This July Coldplay will come to Gothenburg for four sold-out concerts at Ullevi stadium. The band has put sustainability high on the agenda. In a unique collaboration between the band, the organizer Luger and local actors, Gothenburg now sets a new standard for large events at Ullevi stadium.
Are you attending? This is how you can contribute:
- Travel with public transport to the stadium
We recommend that you get to the stadium by public transport. The stops closest to the stadium are Ullevi Norra and Ullevi Södra. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the stadium from the Central Station. Plan your journey at Västtrafik.se. - Cycle to the stadium
We have several bike parkings around the arena, making it convenient for more people to take the bike. These will be in the park next to the bag storage along Levgrensvägen. You can also use a rental bike from Styr & Ställ. You can see all bike parkings and Styr & Ställ stations around the stadium on the map below. - Bring a bottle for water refill
In the stadium there are water stations where you can refill your own bottle. Please note that the bottle must be empty when entering the stadium and it is not permitted to have a cork on the bottle. - Choose green food options
There will be both vegan and vegetarian food options at the stadium. - Recycle your waste
Help us keep the stadium clean and reduce waste by recycling. Stations for recycling will be placed both outside and inside the stadium. - Return your reusable glass
In some serving areas we use reusable glasses. Make sure to return the glasses so they can be reused. - Return your LED wristband
LED wristbands will be handed out before the concert. Make sure you return your wristband before going home. The wristbands are linked to technology that cannot be used outside the stadium.
