Big matches belong at Ullevi
This summer, Gothenburg invites you to a grand public celebration during the FIFA World Cup! We’re opening Ullevi Plaza and Ullevi to broadcast Sweden’s matches and the big final on giant screens. Expect an atmosphere like no other. We follow the matches together. Celebrate every goal a little louder. Feel every moment a little stronger.
From June 11 to July 19, the FIFA World Cup will be played in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Fans around the world will gather to follow the drama—and in Gothenburg, we’ll experience it together at Ullevi Plaza and Ullevi. In addition to giant-screen broadcasts, there will be entertainment, activities, as well as food and beverage. With free entry, a World Cup celebration awaits all of Gothenburg and anyone who wants to share the thrill of the tournament together.
The matches will also be shown on a big screen inside of Ullevi.
Good to know
Age limit
At Ullevi Plaza, the age limit is 18. Younger visitors are welcome to attend the event inside Ullevi.
Find the arena
Food and drinks
At Ullevi Plaza, there is a food court, kiosks, and bars offering a great selection of food and drinks. The area is licensed to serve alcohol, making it possible to purchase alcoholic beverages on site.
Please note that bringing your own food and drinks into the arena is not permitted.
Water
Water stations are available inside Ullevi Plaza. You may bring an empty, soft PET bottle (50 cl) without a cap so that you can easily refill with water.
Bags and other items
Please note that there is no total bag ban; however, bags larger than 40 × 40 × 20 cm are not permitted inside the arena.
Please also note that umbrellas, regardless of size, and bicycle batteries are not permitted inside the arena.
Strollers
It is not permitted to bring strollers into Ullevi Plaza during this event.
Filming during the event
During this event, live camera broadcasting will take place. As a visitor, you may be filmed and appear in the broadcast. The purpose of the filming is to provide audience entertainment through interviews, live cameras, and similar features. The material is not recorded or stored.
