The Swedish National Team returns to Scandinavium!
On 14 January, Sweden begin their journey at the 2027 World Championship. But before that, one final match on home soil awaits in Gothenburg. On 8 January, the Swedish men's national handball team returns to Scandinavium for a match against Austria.
Over the years, Scandinavium has hosted many memorable handball nights. The Swedish men's national team competed here during both the EHF EURO 2020 and the 2023 IHF Men's World Championship. Last year, they also set a new home attendance record for a non-championship match when 12,224 spectators witnessed the EHF Euro Cup clash against France.
Ahead of the 2027 World Championship, the national team returns to Scandinavium for their final preparations on home soil. The match against Austria will be the last opportunity to fine-tune the team before the tournament begins. Join fellow Swedish supporters in filling the arena and creating the incredible home atmosphere that gives the team extra energy on their road to the World Championship!
See you at Scandinavium!
