Accessibility at Scandinavium
Here you will find information about wheelchair spaces, accessibility services and other practical things that are good to know before your visit at Scandinavium.
Book wheelchair spaces
Booking wheelchair spaces for events at Scandinavium is often done via Ticketmaster.se or Ticketmaster's accessibility line 077-670 77 77 (phone hours weekdays 09:00-13:00). To book tickets for wheelchair spaces at Frölunda HC’s home matches, contact lotta.algotsson@frolundahockey.com.
The wheelchair spaces are located in row 6 in sections C, D, G, J, K, R and T. Which spaces that are available varies on different events. Near the wheelchair spaces, there is a arena host available.
When you book a ticket with a wheelchair space, one (1) free companion is always included. The companion can sit on a chair near you. If you have another party that you want to sit close to, we recommend they try to book seats in row 5, in the same section as you. They will then sit on the row just in front of the wheelchair space.
Mobility impairment without a wheelchair
If you have a mobility impairment and want to avoid stairs, we recommend that you book a ticket in row 6, which is at ground level. To access other seating areas or the standing area, stairs are required. If you need crutches, it is OK to bring them into the arena.
Non-visible disabilities
If you have a disability that means that you need additional information or support during your visit to an event, do not hesitate to contact us at eventinfo@gotevent.se. Also, inform the staff on-site and we will do our utmost to meet your needs.
Get to the arena
- By public transport
If you go by public transport, the nearest stop is Scandinavium. In Västtrafik’s travel planner, you can find the best route and also see which trams and busses have room for wheelchairs. - By car
If you take the car and have a parking permit for people with disabilites, there are four parking lots just in front of the arena. Keep in mind that the parking areas can become busy at events. - With service transport
If you go with service transport, state “Scandinavium, Valhallagatan 1” when ordering. If you book service to get you from the arena, we recommend that you have about half an hour to spare on your booking. This because it is rarely possible to know the exact end time for an event.
Entrance
There is a ramp just in front of the arena that will take you to the main entrance. There you can choose which entrance you would like to use.
Arena plan
(This is a general overview of Scandinavium. Click on the arena plan to see an enlarged version.)
Scandinavium consists of four floors. The entrance is on ground level, floor 0.
Accessible toilets are available in sections U, B, D and M.
Scandinavium has a wide range of food and drink options. On the ground level you will find several kiosks with low counters, Espresso House and the two bars Kranen and Foajébaren. Kranen, located at section G, is a fully accessible bar.
Elevators in the foyer take you up to Glöd Kök & Bar, which has an extra low counter. There is also an elevator that takes you one floor down to the Legends Bar. However, to use it you need to contact the nearest Got Event host. This is due to security reasons.
