Accessibility at Gamla Ullevi
Here you will find information about wheelchair spaces, accessibility services and other practical things that are good to know before your visit at Gamla Ullevi.
Book wheelchair spaces
Booking wheelchair spaces for matches with GAIS, IFK Göteborg, and Örgryte IS is done through each team's ticket page (follow the links above). Booking wheelchair spaces for matches with the Swedish women's national team is done through ticketmaster.se or Ticketmaster's accessibility line 077-670 77 77 (phone hours weekdays 09:00-13:00).
The wheelchair spaces are located in section K on the long side of the arena. Entry is via entrance 9. Near the wheelchair spaces, there is a arena host available.
When you book a ticket with a wheelchair space, one (1) free companion is always included. The companion will sit either on a loose chair next to you or on a fixed chair just behind you. If you have other companions who want to sit close by, we recommend they try to book seats in row 1 of section K. They will then be seated in the row behind you.
Mobility impairment without a wheelchair
If you have a mobility impairment and want to avoid stairs, we recommend booking a ticket in section K on the long side of the arena. There are seats for those who have difficulty walking. To reach other seats, you need to use stairs. If you need crutches, it is okay to bring them into the arena.
Non-visible disabilities
If you have a disability that means that you need additional information or support during your visit to an event, do not hesitate to contact us at eventinfo@gotevent.se. Also, inform the staff on-site and we will do our utmost to meet your needs.
Get to the arena
- By public transport
If you travel by public transport, the nearest stops are Drottningtorget, Polhemsplatsen, Åkareplatsen, Heden, Ullevi Norra, and Ullevi Södra. In Västtrafik's travel planner you can find the best route and see which departures have space for a wheelchair. - By car
If you drive, you can find the nearest parking space via Parking Göteborg. - By service transport
If you use transport services, they stop at the northeast corner of the arena. State "Gamla Ullevi, Ullevigatan 3" when booking. If you book service transport to get from the arena, we recommend allowing about half an hour extra on your booking, as it is difficult to know the exact end time of a match.

Audio description
Matches in herrallsvenskan are audio described via our app Got Event Accessibility. The audio description is in the form of TV commentary via Discovery+ and does not require pre-booking. Note that the audio description is in swedish. Remember to bring a fully charged phone and headphones (we recommend in-ears). It's also good to bring a powerbank in case your phone battery runs out.
If you're interested in a match that lacks audio description, you can contact us at eventinfo@gotevent.se, and we'll try to arrange it.
Sign language interpretation
Some matches are sign language interpreted via our app Got Event Accessibility. You can see which matches are sign language interpreted directly in the app. Note that the sign language interpretation is in swedish sign language.
If you're interested in a match that lacks sign language interpretation, you can contact us at eventinfo@gotevent.se, and we'll try to arrange it.
Remember to bring a fully charged phone to use the interpretation service. It's also good to bring a power bank in case your phone battery runs out.
In the video below, you can get more information about the Got Event Accessibility app in sign language.
Amplified arena sound (Hearing loop)
Via the app Got Event Accessibility, you can get amplified arena sound at all matches. This means you hear what the speaker says in your own headphones or hearing aid. Note that the language of the speaker is swedish.
If you are going to use the service, remember to bring a fully charged phone and headphones (we recommend in-ears). It's also good to bring a power bank in case your phone battery runs out.
